Western Sydney hit-and-run: Woman seriously injured after being hit by a car in Cranebrook

  • A 35-year-old woman was hit early Friday morning

A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in a hit-and-run accident in western Sydney.

The 35-year-old was hit by a car on McGann Place in Cranebrook just before 4am on Friday.

The car failed to stop and the woman was found on the next street on Sherringham Road, where she was treated at the scene by paramedics for serious head and hand injuries.

She was then taken to the hospital.

A crime scene has been established and specialist officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are on site.
