Westfield, Doncaster stabbing: Man stabbed in front of little girl in shopping center
Two men were stabbed to death in a brutal attack in a busy shopping center in front of terrified onlookers.
CCTV footage shows a little girl watching in horror as a man lying on the ground is stabbed in the torso with a large knife while he is repeatedly kicked by another attacker.
Emergency services rushed to the Westfield shopping center in Doncaster, in Melbourne’s northwest, at around 6.45pm on Saturday.
A 21-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition, while another man the same age was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Three men, aged 17, 18 and 19, who were allegedly involved in the incident were arrested shortly afterwards. All three were released on bail.

The 18 and 19-year-old will return to Ringwood Magistrate’s Court on March 8 next year, while the 17-year-old will face the Children’s Court at a later date.
Victoria Police confirmed the 19-year-old had been charged with willful and reckless assault, reckless conduct risking serious injury, possession of controlled weapons, theft and affray.
The 17-year-old faced similar charges of wounding with intent, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, affray, possession of cannabis and possession of controlled weapons, while the 18-year-old was charged with affray, theft and bail offenses.
Police believe the two parties did not know each other at the time of the attack.
The exact circumstances of the incident still need to be clarified.
Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
