Wetherspoon is bringing back popular menu item – but fans are warned there’s a catch
Wetherspoon will be bringing a popular dish back to the menu across its 800 locations across the UK and Ireland.
However, the fan favorite, the brunch burger, previously branded “amazing” by fans, will only be available for one day.
The burger, which includes a 3-ounce beef patty with American cheese, maple bacon, free-range fried egg, and hash browns, was the last hit on the menu in 2013.
Now, a decade later, diners can once again try the giant sandwich, but only for a limited time.
The brunch burger will only be available in Wetherspoon branches on Father’s Day, Sunday 18th June.

A meal of burger, fries and a soft drink costs customers from £7.15.
Excluding calories from beverages, the meal (burger and fries) contains 1,234 calories.
Non-alcoholic beverages on offer include orange juice, R. White raspberry soda and Pepsi Max.
From £8.55, guests can swap out the soft drink for something alcoholic, with a choice of craft beers, wine, spirits, ale, draft beer and bottled lager.
As prices may vary by location, guests are advised to check local prices before purchasing.
Matt Elsdon, senior food development manager at Wetherspoon, said the brand is confident diners will embrace the meal.
He said, “We’re confident that our customers will welcome the return of the brunch burger for just one day to mark Father’s Day.”
Customers who want to try the burger should also note that it is not found on the pub’s printed menus.

However, you can order the option by asking at the bar or via the chain’s Spoons app.
Wetherspoon recently drew criticism from some fans after announcing it would raise the prices of a number of dishes.
Guests were dismayed to see some menu options increase in price by up to £3.
Amid the pricing issues, a pint of San Miguel went from £3.45 to £3.71; and tea and coffee rose £1.35 to £1.45.
Meanwhile, an all-day brunch has gone from £5.79 to £8.92; and fish and chips with alcoholic drinks rose to £10.65 from £9.90.
