When does Warzone season 5 start?

Fans excited for the launch of Warzone Season 5 won’t have to wait much longer.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded released two weeks ago with a new overpowered shotgun and The Boys Operators, including a Black Noir skin that doubles as the next Roze skin. The update also brought Battle Royale to Vondel and a rotating playlist of Resurgence maps.

As players explore the new content, they want to know what’s coming next season. Although Activision is still revealing many details about Warzone Season 5, we do know when the update is expected to go live.

Warzone Season 5 is expected to begin on Wednesday, August 9th. The Battle Pass for Season 4 Reloaded ends on that date, likely paving the way for the release of the next update on the same day. Activision is yet to confirm the date, so Warzone Season 5 could potentially be delayed until we get a firm launch date.

Until Activision releases the Warzone Season 5 roadmap, we won’t know the scope of game modes, weapons, and bundles in the next update. According to dataminers, Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage Operators could make their battle royale debuts in the coming months.

Activision also announced the reveal of the rumored Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in Season 5 of Warzone. In addition to confirming the title of Call of Duty 2023, the event will also reveal more information on the transfer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 weapons, bundles, and operators to MW3.
