When is the next Fortnite World Cup?

The next Fortnite World Cup is coming sooner than fans might think.

The first Fortnite World Cup took place in 2019, when the world’s best players met in New York to compete for a share of the record-breaking $30 million prize pool. At the event, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf was crowned Solos Champion, while David “Aqua” Wang and Emil “Nyhrox” Bergquist Pedersen took home the Duos title.

With so much money and publicity attached to the Fortnite World Cup, fans and players alike have been begging Epic Games to host another tournament of similar magnitude. In just a few weeks her wish will come true.

The next Fortnite World Cup, now called FNCS Global Championship 2023, will take place October 13-15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The world’s best duos will compete in front of a live audience, with a $4 million prize pool at stake.

Fortnite players from regions around the world had four opportunities to qualify for the LAN tournament in 2023, including three FNCS Majors and one Last Change Major.
