When will Overwatch 2’s Battle for Mount Olympus end?

Overwatch 2 players are in the middle of Season 2 and a new Battle for Olympus event that went live on January 5th. However, seasonal events can’t last forever, so here’s the schedule of the Greek mythology-inspired free-for-all event.

The Battle for Olympus event is brand new to Overwatch 2 and has never been held before in previous seasons of Overwatch 2 or its predecessor. The event began on January 5th and brought with it a new limited-time game mode, as well as new cosmetics such as skins, voicelines, and player titles.

The main attraction is the Battle for Olympus Free-for-All, which upgrades a selection of heroes with divine ultimates and pits them against each other in epic deathmatches. Playing the new event also involves completing special challenges with their own rewards, while others must be purchased from the game’s store.

Another feature of the event is that the hero who gets the most eliminations during the event will be immortalized as a marble statue on the Ilios Ruins map, so players who are the main protagonists of the event’s heroes will commemorate their participation and support their favorites be able. The contenders are:

The event is expected to end on Thursday, January 19th. Although the event won’t run very long, it’s possible that Blizzard may decide to host the event again in future seasons of the game to give players who liked it or missed out on it the opportunity to try it for the first time .

Unfortunately, while the Battle for Olympus event is an exciting addition to the game, it is part of the seasonal content and as such is not yet permanently available for Overwatch 2 players.
