Who is Anton Du Beke’s wife Hannah Summers? A look into the private life of the father of two

Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice take a break from the dance floor for their travel show Anton and Giovanni’s Adventures in Sicily.

In the three-part series, dancer Giovanni, 31, will introduce strict judge and pal Anton, 56, to his beloved homeland of Sicily.

The duo will explore everything from traditional food to famous sights and even enjoy a tango or two.

Anton said: “When I first heard about this trip, it was pretty compelling. What’s not to love? It’s all my favorite things, great food, great country and spending time in the sun with Giovanni. Fabulous!’.

Who is Anton Du Beke’s wife?

Hannah Summers, 46, is Strictly Star Antons and the Chief Marketing Officer of cellphone security company AdaptiveMobile.

The couple met at a golf club in 2011 after following her to the bathroom at a formal dinner.

Speaking to the That Gaby Roslin podcast last year, Anton revealed he didn’t make the best first impression.

He explained: “Towards the end of dinner she gets up to leave the table and I was like, yeah, here’s my chance, I’ll go and talk to her.

“I never thought about it enough though because when you’re at a dinner like this there’s very little reason to get up and leave the table, I basically followed her to the powder room. Brilliant.

‘She walks in, I’m three steps behind her, I’m walking, ah, while you’re here I might as well walk, so I dove into the men’s room, then I came out of the men’s room, and then I was like, oh , that could be she went back to the table and I missed my chance, should I wait here, she might still be in here, should I ask someone to check – I can’t, it’s ridiculous.

“As I’m thinking about it, she comes out of the bathroom, I’m standing outside the women’s room, she stops and she looks at me and says, ‘Were you waiting for me in the bathroom?’ And I went, could have been, and she says, ‘mad’ and walks away.’

When did Anton Du Beke get married?

Back in May 2017, MailOnline exclusively revealed that two months after becoming parents, they tied the knot when she was spotted wearing a huge diamond engagement ring at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Previously, Anton gushed about their relationship and couldn’t contain his love for his other half in 2016, suggesting he’d be walking down the aisle with the blonde beauty.

He told the Mirror: “She’s just perfect. I love her more than anything. will we get married Maybe next year. We are very happy.”

They found love shortly after his split from radio and television broadcaster Caroline Feraday, but have not gone public with their romance for years.

Of Hannah, Anton said: “Performing was the ‘woman’ in my life, if you will – but then Hannah came along. She is just perfect. She is very beautiful, smart, but also very kind.

Does Anton Du Beke have children?

The happy couple share five-year-old twins George and Henrietta, with Anton detailing his decision to start a family later in life.

The dancer, who became a dad for the first time at the age of 50, explained he “can’t imagine” being a young dad when he performs at Steph’s Lunchbox in 2021.

Anton added that he “wouldn’t have been ready” for fatherhood at a younger age after he and Hannah became parents to twins after a long battle with IVF.

He said: “Obviously I couldn’t imagine doing it at any other age because I didn’t do it. I would not have been ready for this earlier in my life.”

He further admitted that as a young man he was extremely self-centered, adding: “The earlier part of my life was very, very hard on me.

“I would not have been willing for many reasons, financial ones – kids can cost you a few pounds!”.
