Oprah Winfrey has added a one-of-a-kind toy created by an Australian mom to her quarterly list of her favorite items.

The Patience Pebbles ($54.95) were created by Gold Coast mom and psychotherapist Jacqueline Yeats to “bring a calming effect into your family home as your child discovers the art of mindfulness through play.”

The “Pebbles” are essentially “rose” or “sea foam” colored wooden discs that kids can use to stack and build “castles or rocket ships.”

The Mindful & Co Kids brand claims that the pebbles “encourage creativity, imagination and free play” while also building “resilience, patience and independence” and helping to teach cause and effect.

Many parents also like the fact that the pebbles are sustainable and sold in muted tones, meaning they won’t look too garish or garish in your home.

Oprah said of the pebbles, “Kids and adults alike will love these Patience Pebbles.

This isn’t the first time one of Jacqueline’s products has landed on one of Oprah’s coveted lists.

The TV star had previously selected other Mindful & Co items, including an ABCs of Mindfulness book with hand-drawn illustrations and poems, and Affirmations colored pencils.

Jacqueline Yeats turned Mindful & Co Kids from start-up to star within two years and is now even represented in the US megastore Bloomingdale’s.

The business started with a yoga flash card game that encourages kids to practice mindfulness on the go.

Now she sells a whole range of mindfulness-inspired games and toys and has a booming international business.
