Kolo Toure’s nightmare start as Wigan manager continued as they slipped to a fourth consecutive defeat to remain bottom of the table.
Late goals from Oscar Estupinan and Tyler Smith gave Hull a win at DW Stadium that has maintained its revival since Liam Rosenior took over in early November.
Half-time sub Nathan Broadhead had equalized Jacob Greave’s goal in the first half to give Latics hope of only taking their second point since Toure took over at the World Cup break.
But Estupinan in the 78th, Smith in the 85th and again in the 90th made four straight losses for the Latics – and a third at the trot with a 4-1 lead – and prompted a chorus of boos from home fans the final whistle.
