Will MLB The Show 23 be available on Xbox Game Pass?

MLB The Show fans have reason to rejoice as MLB The Show 23 returns to Xbox Game Pass.

PlayStation Studios and SIE San Diego Studios announced that MLB The Show 23 will once again be available on Xbox Game Pass during the Cover Athlete Reveal event. Jazz Chisholm of the Miami Marlins is the latest athlete to feature on the cover after Shohei Ohtani. The availability of Xbox Game Pass was confirmed in the official reveal trailer below on the Xbox YouTube channel.

MLB The Show 23 will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Xbox fans don’t have to worry about paying full price for the game. The game will be playable on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on March 28th.

Not only is this another huge win for Xbox owners, but an even bigger bonus for those planning to play on multiple consoles. MLB The Show is unique in that players can transfer Diamond Dynasty progress to other accounts. Collectors may decide to purchase a special edition for a different console but still want to be able to play on Xbox. This is where Xbox Game Pass comes in again.

SIE San Diego Studios later announced a special The Captain Edition starring Derek Jeter as the cover star. Jeter will also serve as the cover star for the Digital Deluxe Edition, including numerous bonuses for those looking for a head start in Diamond Dynasty.
