“The Gamechanger prize pot of €1 million has given the 16 competing fighters the chance to earn money and make history by winning the tournament.”

“We want to create heroes with this tournament, but the health of our fighters is most important and financial rewards are important.”

Neruda concluded: “As we have grown, the prize money has increased, and it will continue to do so.”

OKTAGON MMA travels to Frankfurt for OKTAGON 46 on Saturday, September 16th, headlined by the women’s strawweight title fight pitting Jacinda Austin against Katharina Dalisda.

In the semifinals, former OKTAGON MMA welterweight world champion David Kozma will face Bojan Velickovic and Louis Glismann will face Andreas Michailidis.

OKTAGON also secured a broadcast deal that will see the promotion streamed on Channel 4 and their YouTube channel.

The first of many shows will air on November 4th with Jake Quickenden making his MMA debut in Manchester.

“The partnership with Channel 4 and our UK debut is exciting news!” said Neruda. “We’re not just another MMA promotion; “We tell stories, create documentaries and produce television shows that are consistent with Channel 4 content. This collaboration is a testament to our shared values.”

“We’re proud to bring ‘Stage to the Cage’ and OKTAGON Challenge: England vs. Ireland to viewers in the UK this autumn.” These aren’t just shows; They are a new take on MMA. “Together with Channel 4 we want to offer fans unrivaled viewing experiences.”

A Channel 4 spokesman added: “We’re delighted to introduce OKTAGON MMA to the already vibrant and thriving UK fight scene. “They’ve shaken up Europe – these guys really know how to put on a show.”
